Earlier this week, Zack Snyder, the director of the upcoming Batman vs. Superman film, tweeted a murky black and white picture of Ben Affleck as Batman. It’s the first time anyone has seen Affleck as The Dark Knight and the Internet duly lit up with practically everyone’s thoughts on this new look. This incarnation of the suit marks a steady evolution of the outfit since Batman’s on screen debut in the 1940s. So what better a time to look back at the characters various looks than now?
